Description

Roundish nipples/galls (1–2 mm), green at first later turning brown, occur mainly along the ribs, very visible on both sides of the leaf. The galls are hairless. During suitable conditions very abundant. All leaves can be infested. Fruits can also be attacked. This gall mite is common in parks, gardens and walnut plantations. It can become a serious pest attacking the fruits.
