I've been involved in forestry for over 30 years because of my love for forests, insects, and nature. My aim is to assist forest owners and users in understanding the forest better. I believe that by doing so, they can produce more wood at a lower cost. My hope is that this will improve the lives of forest owners and their families, making wood more affordable and accessible to everyone in the future. I'm glad that wood production brings about many non-production benefits. Besides timber production, the forest provides us with oxygen, stores CO2, retains water, and offers a beautiful environment for leisure. Being informed about pests is a crucial step toward achieving the aforementioned goals.
