Description
Beetle in size approx. 3 - 3.5 mm. Mathernal corridor horizontal, about 3 cm long, larval corridors go down and up. Gallery system very similar to those of S. intricatus. One generation per year, beetles are on the wings in June.
Symptom
Mathernal corridor about 3 cm long, larval corridors go down and up. Gallery system very simila to those of S. intricatus, maternal gallery si a bit longer in case of S. carpini.
