Description
As a result of feeding of the mite, on the bottom side of the leaf are formed felt-like coatings (erineum). The coatings are yellow, later ochre to red. The damage is carried also onto the top side of the leaf where the attacked surface becomes paler and reddish. Sometimes every leaf can be damaged. It can seriously reduce the aesthetic value of the tree.
