Description
It is a relatively massive, bean-like gall that fills up the entire space between the cetral vein and the leaf edge. On one leaf there often occur more galls. The gall can be up to 20-30 mm long and 15 mm wide. Firstly it is green, later on with the shade of red. It is visible on both sides of the leaf. Only one pale yellow larva lives inside.
