Description
The mycelium develops especially on the lower side of leaves. On the living leaves it is sometimes only barely recognizable. Infected leaves are silvery on the underside. In the powdery covering are formed round yellow to orange cleistothecia. The mycelium penetrates into the intercellular space. It is a biotrophic pathogen.
Symptom
Yellow to orange spherical cleistothecia form between the flour coating.
