Trametes wood decay

Description

Trametes wood decay is mostly saprophytic, only seldom weakly parasitic. It is found on lying trunks and standing trees damaged e.g. by sunburn. The fruiting bodies are grey to yellowish with distinct fuzz on the surface; the bottom side is formed by yellowish-white pores. It causes white rot.

Symptom

The hat is semicircular, without a depth, furrow-striped on the surface, hairy.
