Description

Bivoltine, the adults fly during the summer. The larva feeds inside fine shoots. Both the infested shoot and the leaves on it get dry and fall. The influence is negligible. The symptoms are the same as in case of Epinotia festivana. Oak forests.

Thickening of the base of young shoorts, and reducing and eventualy stopping their growth.
