Description

This gall sawfly causes more or less globular, light greenish, densely hairy galls (ca. 4–5 mm in diameter) on the underside of the leaf. Galls can be found from May to Autumn. The gall contains one larva. The influence on tree health status is negligible. This species occurs frequently in North and Central Europe.
