Description
The larvae of Phyllonorycter klemannella, a moth belonging to the Gracillariidae family, feed on the leaves of Alnus glutinosa and Alnus incana. Sometimes multiple mines can be found on a single leaf. Pupation occurs within a white cocoon inside the mine. This moth species is found throughout Europe.
