Description

The larvae of these hymenoptera are green or light yellow. They are always densely covered with small thorns. They live singly or in small groups and are often very abundant in oak forest stands. They feeds gregariously, sometimes are very common. Among the most abundant species, may be mentioned species such as Periclista albida, P. pubescens, P. albipennis and P. andrei.
