Forest fire
Forest fire
Description
Undesirable burning of forest trees. A fire can be caused naturally (by lightning, wetting of organic material in sunny weather) or artificially, often intentionally, by human activity. The cause of forest and grassland fires is, in the vast majority of cases, human negligence, non-compliance with fire prevention measures and, last but not least, underestimation of fire hazards when using open fires (starting a fire, smoking, burning grasslands, underestimating fire hazards, etc). Any tree can be damaged by fire, but they most often occur in Mediterranean dry oak and pine forests. In mountainous areas then in spruce forests.

Burnt bark, leaves, needles, black colored stems after burning.
