Ennomos erosaria

Description

Ennomos erosaria is an orange ocher to brown colored moth of the family Geometridae. It resembles a dry leaf. It has two pairs of darker transverse narrow strips on the wings. The edges of the wings are markedly cut. Wingspan approx. 30-35 mm. It flies in one generation from July to October. The caterpillar is light yellow-green to green with brown growths resembling a dry branch. The caterpillar lives from May to June.
