Description

Hard, globular gall (2–15 mm in diameter) situated on the petiole, flower stalk or young shoot. Pale coloured, greenish, but sometimes reddish. The gall can either be single- or multi-chambered. Each chamber contains a yellow larva. Its impact is negligible. Forests, parks, gardens with Tilia spp.
