Description

On the lower side of a leaf is formed the round, spilt gall, about 4-5 mm in size. It is pale brown or red. In the middle there is a small cavity. The larva lives inside the gall. Sexual generation develops in the gall on the rand of the leaf. Neuroterus albipes f. reflexus has similar gall.
